The Project
UP-MS is being developed as a tool to teach and assess learning of autistic students through the process of complicated tasks in a safe, controlled, and easily quantifiable virtual environment.
The Tech
UP-MS is a VR-based simulation built on Windows using the Oculus Rift platform. The application read and tracks hand motion and gestures using a Leap Motion module. The simulation is being built in Unity, with assets being developed in Blender and Rhino.
